The Solaris Operating System (Solaris OS) is the foundation on which some of the world's leading companies are built, offering high levels of reliability, availability, security and scalability.

• First, learn how to perform the essential system administration procedures on the Solaris OS, and then demonstrate these skills by becoming a Sun Certified System Administrator.
• Next, QA-IQ’s expert instructors train experienced system administrators on the skills required to administer Sun systems in a networked environment, which can be validated by becoming a Sun Certified Network Administrator.
• Afterwards, you can pursue specialty training and certification in security administration for the Solaris OS, which helps enable career growth into a more specific job role making you more valuable to an organisation. 
  

Solaris 10 Certification learning paths are offered for both SPARC and x64/x86 Hardware Architectures.

QA-IQ offers professional certifications in the Solaris 8, 9 and 10 Operating Systems, all of which have specific version upgrade exam paths if required.  We also provide the following Solaris OS professional certifications:

• Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA).  Candidates must pass two exams, both part 1 and part 11)
• Sun Certified Network Administrator (SCNA).  (One exam)
• Sun Certified Security Administrator (SCSECA).  (One exam)
